The New Petzl Myobelt XP provides a powerful 3-watt LED with four lighting levels and a diffuser lens to meet the demands of nearly any lighting situation. The remote battery pack reduces the weight worn on the head to only 2.6 ounces.
When the battery pack is worn under clothing, it protects the batteries from the cold to significantly increase battery life in frigid temperatures. But don't think this headlamp is just for mountaineers, by removing the battery weight off your head, the headlamp comfort is increased. This system works great for trail runners and others looking for maximum stability and light.
A connector system links the battery pack to the headlamp so that the energy source can be disconnected or quickly replaced. A simple flip up, flip down, diffuser lens allows for either proximity lighting or far reaching focused illumination. An included top strap, that is detachable, provides extra stability.
Boost mode gives 50% more light (65 meter illumination) than maximum level for 20 seconds. Battery life indicator (tri-color LED light) warns when batteries are 70% drained (orange) and 90% drained (red).
Tiltable light body allows your to aim the light exactly where you need it. Switches are protected by the light housing to prevent the Myo XP from accidentally turning on. Water resistant for all-weather use.
